Get from months of use out of a single pack of re-usable fire lighters.
No mess, effortless start-up for your wood fire.
Soak the re-usable fire starters in methylated spirits, when lighting a fire place the soaked firelighter into the base of the fireplace and when ready light it, it should burn with a bright blue flame for a few minutes giving enough time for a fire to become establish on the wood fuel.
Once the fire starter has stopped burning it can be retrieved from the fire, use metal tongs and place the firelighter on a non-combustible surface, i.e., a block of stone, concrete or tile.
When it is cold it can be stored in an airtight jar of methylated spirits, ready for your next fire.
