Refund Policy



Fourth Element is committed to customer satisfaction.   All of our products come complete with full manufacturer’s guarantees and warranties and all sales are protected under the NZ Consumer Guarantees Act (CGA)


If you are unhappy with your new purchase for any reason, simply return it to us within 14 days in the condition and original packaging you received it and we will happily exchange or refund the product.


If you return the product outside of 14 days then we are happy to exchange the product for store credit. The returns policy expires 60 days from purchase date.


All items are able to be refunded or exchanged provided they are returned in perfect condition as you received them.


Please note: Costs for repackaging may apply.


Refunds (if applicable)

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed with a 20% restocking fee plus any shipping charges that have been incurred, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment within 5 working days. Alternatively, we may offer you a store credit against your account.


Sale items (if applicable)

Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.


Exchanges (if applicable)

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at sales@fourth-element.co.nz and send your item to Fourth Element, 917 Karamu Road, Hastings 4122.



To return your product, you should arrange delivery of your product to Fourth Element, 917 Karamu Road, Hastings 4122.


You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.


Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.  If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We require you to ensure we receive your returned item.
